This Eid-ul-Azha marked the release of two highly anticipated films, London Nahi Jaunga and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad. Despite there being certain hurdles, like the release of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Love and Thunder, and heavy rainfall in Karachi, people still made their way to the cinema to watch these films.
In a post-Eid review of ratings based on the content, Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad currently rates higher than London Nahi Jaunga on IMDb, with the former having a rating of 7.3 while the latter rates 5.7 out of 10.
In terms of business and profitability, London Nahi Jaunga seems to be leading the way by making PKR 7.5 crore over the weekend, while Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad made PKR 5.05 crore. Review-wise, both of the movies are being loved and appreciated by cinema-goers, where one is a social drama laced with comedy while the other is a rom-com laced with dramatic elements.
A common factor for both films is their stellar cast, featuring A-listers from the industry, with Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan in Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad and Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat, and Kubra Khan in London Nahi Jaunga.
